The Wise Kids follows intersecting trio of graduating seniors Brea, Tim and Laura, whose lives have been touched deeply by the Southern Baptist church and its influence in Charleston, South Carolina where the film is set. Brea is a preacher's daughter and more interested in the bigger questions of the universe than following God.
